The Sims 4 Save Planner
A planning companion for The Sims 4. Map out worlds, households, sims, clubs, holidays, and businesses — before you build them in-game, after you import a save, or somewhere in between.
Drop in a .save and the planner pulls everything: lot types, family names, sim lifestages, club rosters, even your custom venues. Or start from a blank canvas and dream up a save piece by piece.
Track build progress. Collect inspo. Annotate your worlds. Share a public showcase. Whatever the story, this is the notebook for it.
Your .save file is read locally in your browser. The raw file is never uploaded — only the extracted records (names, types, assignments) live in the planner's database. Your photos are stored privately to your account unless you flip the public-sharing switch.
I'd rather be upfront than coy: this app was coded with the help of Claude Code, Anthropic's AI coding assistant, used as a pair-programmer.
The vision, the design, the Sims know-how, and every decision about how it works are mine — the AI helped me write and refactor the code faster than I could alone. There's no AI-generated art or content anywhere: the visuals are EA's official world maps and in-game icons (credited below) plus the design system I built by hand.
This project is an independent re-implementation of community-documented file formats. No copyrighted EA / Maxis code or assets are redistributed.
